James Bond Odds: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the Next James Bond?

There have been some reports that the British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has received a formal offer to play the iconic character of James Bond.

As a consequence of the stories, betting services have suspended all betting, with an announcement on whether he will take over his position from Daniel Craig likely in the days to come.

With a lengthy delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Craig’s fifth and last appearance as 007 made its worldwide premiere on September 28, 2021, at the Royal Albert Hall, which is situated in London.

Additional premieres followed in the United Kingdom and the United States and despite concerns about audiences’ inclination to return to cinemas, No Time To Die generated just under 775 million dollars at the theater box office.

In tandem Academy Award winners Rami Malek and Christoph Waltz generated more than sixty million dollars in areas outside of the United States and Canada.

Aaron-Taylor is fit for the James Bond role

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, producers of the James Bond film franchise, are being very careful in selecting the next actor to play the iconic role of Bond, following Daniel Craig’s successful tenure. The role has previously been played by Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan.

According to reports, the producers are looking for an actor under the age of 40, who can commit to a multi-film contract. British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson is rumored to have been offered the role, which confirms the predictions of some betting sites.

Taylor-Johnson has appeared in films such as Kick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tenet, and Bullet Train. He also played John Lennon in Nowhere Boy and received a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal in Nocturnal Animals.

Taylor-Johnson was priced at 2/1 with Coral to be the next James Bond before the betting ended.
