Today, Monday, Islamabad United and table-toppers Multan Sultans will face off at the National Stadium in Karachi for the big Orion trophy of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9th edition.
The coin toss for the PSL 9 final will happen at 8:30 pm Pakistan time, and the first ball of the match is expected to be thrown at 9:00 pm.

Multan Sultans, who made it to the final by defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the qualifier, will be playing their fourth final in a row. They won the championship in 2021 and came in second place in the following two editions, where Lahore Qalandars won two times in a row.

After ending up third on the table, Islamabad United beat Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in the two eliminators to secure their spot in the final match. This will be Islamabad’s first final since 2018, which was the last time they won the PSL title.
